Team South Africa has been plagued with some bad luck in the last couple of days of qualifying.....
Dean has only managed to complete two of the required 4 out of 6 Qualifiers, Jonathan likewise only two although one with a broken turnbuckle linkage loosing some time, Wesley finished 3, and Kenny managed to complete all of them, Louis finished 5 and Kenny managed all of them.
Varying results across the board with hugely varying track conditions even during a single round making it very tough to finish or finish with any meaningful points.
For those that don't understand how the points are calculated or the ranking determined...... each qualifier is scored with a maximum of 220 points for TQ then 2nd place gets 218 and then down from there in increments of 1. Then after all six are run - the best 4 are scored and the ranking determined.
For interest sakes - Mike Truhe TQ'd 3 of the six runs and scored highly in the other 3 - making him the overall TQ Man for the week. He is Truhe spectacular to watch in action - the man is just a machine. Drake's been battling a bit and so have many of the other big names we all look up to.
So lets wait and see what happens tomorrow with bump ups for all of us planned. One things for sure - our Team Manager / Chief Pit Mechie is absolutely SHARP - he's a wizrd with a tjuning screwdriver and can always be counted on to sort out whatever hassle we might have - a BIG THANKS DANIE!!! You're a star!!
