Congratulations are in order on a well run event at Superbowl – well done to Gary and his team. To see the sun was a bonus! Our Race Director, Charles Hollander was active and definitely made an impact on the discipline. Overall the standard of driving was of a National’s standard.
The results will be available on the web site, namely; sarda.org.za and I attach a copy as well. Please note that I have placed best time out of three for the finals as the web does not provide for round by round. Competition was tough, especially in the World qualifying classes. Times show that very little separate the drivers.

The closing date will also be changed to 21 days before event on the web. If you are not paid up with entry fees by the closing date 13th June, I have no option but to charge late entry fees! (Treasurer’s order)
The next Nationals take place on the 5th and 6th July in Margate. We will be training 8 marshals for the Margate National on the Friday and use them on the weekend. We will have a marquee, security, half a catering table, chair and marshal available at R125 per driver. As was agreed by all drivers at Superbowl, this is compulsory to all drivers. Extra chairs are available at R10 each. Please note that we will have catering on the Friday as well. We hope to see you all at Margate.
We wish our Chairman, Johan van der Merwe and his family all the best for their son Junior - he got bone marrow in his lungs when he broke his leg on landing after skydiving. Junior is recovering at home and we hope to see Johan and Ilse at the next National event. Our thoughts are with you!
